‘t hoorende woort // 2018
A non-existent campaign that focuses on the language within the golden century in the Netherlands. The old language is used as a tool to promote the dance-festival in Hoorn, Outdoor Stereo.
As an announcement for the festival I created a video together with the singer songwriter Ben Visser. Together we wrote a song in old Dutch for the festival.
Rhythm and words are powerful. Rhythm is what attracts people and can move the body to the soul. One word can say a million things, but how does a word express that in a feeling? With this project I have combined them to produce a booming sound with an original language transcript, attracting the festival visitor and letting them experience the power of a new combination.
