Singularity is a re-designed book from Harry Mulisch based on the comparison of Hitler and the singularity within a black hole. But what is singularity? In the center of a black hole is a gravitational singularity, a one-dimensional point which contains a huge mass in an infinitely small space, where density and gravity become infinite and space-time curves infinitely, and where the laws of physics as we know them cease to operate.
In one of the last chapters of Siegfried - een zwarte idylle Mulisch makes the comparison of Hitler with that same singularity. That comparison that is the core and starting point of my book, Singularity.
During the creation of Singularity it was a long road of being able to understand what black holes, singularity, spaghettification, etcetera actually meant for Rosa.
The re-designed book consists out of all the written words of the original book and tries to represent, which is still a vague phenomenon, the core of a black hole.
